District 88 to host virtual Public Information Meeting to share important information regarding bond referendum

District 88 has placed a bond referendum on the Nov. 3, 2026, ballot to address facility needs at Addison Trail and Willowbrook high schools, without a net tax rate increase. Facility improvements include safety and security upgrades and improvements to infrastructure, ADA accessibility and Career and Technical Education (CTE) spaces.

If approved, the bond referendum would fund the updates listed above without a net tax rate increase. This is possible because District 88 has existing referendum debt that will be paid off after levy year 2026, and the district has limited the proposal to the highest-priority needs.

El Distrito 88 organizará una reunión informativa virtual para compartir detalles importantes sobre el referéndum de bonos:

El Distrito 88 ha incluido un referéndum de bonos en la boleta electoral del 3 de noviembre de 2026 para atender las necesidades de las instalaciones de las escuelas secundarias Addison Trail y Willowbrook, sin aumentar la tasa impositiva neta. Las mejoras en las instalaciones incluyen actualizaciones de seguridad y protección, así como mejoras en la infraestructura, la accesibilidad según la normativa ADA y los espacios para la Educación Profesional y Técnica (CTE, por sus siglas en inglés).
