At District 88, we provide a variety of resources and services, as well as partner with local organizations, to ensure students and families receive the supports they need.

How community members can help and support local food services
The Addison Township Community Market, formerly the “Food Pantry,” is now client-choice. Clients can fill their bags with the things they prefer, tailoring each visit to their own needs.
It is open to Addison Township residents from 9 to 11 a.m. and from 1 to 3 p.m. every Wednesday. Residents can shop every other week and receive food twice a month.
For emergency food assistance, call 630-530-8161 between 8 a.m. and 4 p.m. Monday through Friday.
York Township operates an on-site, client-choice Food Pantry for individuals and families in need. The pantry offers both perishable and non-perishable items, allowing clients to select the foods that best meet their household needs.
Clients may visit the pantry once every two weeks.
To qualify to use the pantry, clients must complete an application and provide proof of residence in York Township (current lease or utility bill).
Hours are: 9 to 11:45 a.m. on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays 5 to 7 p.m. on Wednesdays 9 to 11:45 a.m. on the third Saturday of each month Noon to 1:45 p.m. on Thursdays: Seniors aged 65+ and veterans for food and clothing only * Please arrive at least 15 minutes before closing.
