At District 88, we provide a variety of resources and services, as well as partner with local organizations, to ensure students and families receive the supports they need.
As part of that focus, we would like to share the flyer above, with details and links to the following information:
- Mental health and social-emotional supports
- Academic supports for students
- Addison Trail and Willowbrook relief centers (what they offer, as well as requested items community members can help provide)

* This online guide is composed of free and low-cost services in 15 areas such as child care, employment, food, housing, legal services, medical care, mental health/counseling, pregnancy, transportation and more.

- Addison Township Community Market

The Addison Township Community Market, formerly the “Food Pantry,” is now client-choice. Clients can fill their bags with the things they prefer, tailoring each visit to their own needs.
It is open to Addison Township residents from 9 to 11 a.m. and from 1 to 3 p.m. every Wednesday. Residents can shop every other week and receive food twice a month.
For emergency food assistance, call 630-530-8161 between 8 a.m. and 4 p.m. Monday through Friday.
- Food for the Soul Pantry
Good Samaritan Church, 960 W. Army Trail Blvd. in Addison

The pantry is open from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. every Thursday.
New members fill out a one-page form asking for name, address and the number of people in the household. No IDs or documents.
Meats, dairy products and fresh produce are available, along with canned goods.
- York Township Food Pantry
1502 S. Meyers Road in Lombard
Monday through Friday 9 to 11 a.m. (see details, including additional hours, at https://yorktwsp.com/food-pantry).
York Township operates an on-site, client-choice Food Pantry for individuals and families in need. The pantry offers both perishable and non-perishable items, allowing clients to select the foods that best meet their household needs.
Clients may visit the pantry once every two weeks.
To qualify to use the pantry, clients must complete an application and provide proof of residence in York Township (current lease or utility bill).

9 to 11:45 a.m. on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays
5 to 7 p.m. on Wednesdays
9 to 11:45 a.m. on the third Saturday of each month
Noon to 1:45 p.m. on Thursdays: Seniors aged 65+ and veterans for food and clothing only
* Please arrive at least 15 minutes before closing.
ID and proof of residency within service area are required.
