District 88 hosts Prospective Board Candidate Workshop

On Oct. 27, District 88 hosted a Prospective Board Candidate Workshop for those who are interested in running for the District 88 Board of Education during the Consolidated Election on April 6, 2027. Four seats will be open on the District 88 Board.

During the event, attorneys John M. Izzo (Of Counsel) and Eric B. Bernard (Partner) with Petrarca, Gleason, Boyle & Izzo, LLC , along with District 88 Superintendent Dr. Jean Barbanente, discussed the following topics.

1. How to complete the filing/petition process
   
   
2. Important information, reminders and dates regarding the election process
   
   
3. Time requirements of being a Board member
   
   
4. Expectations of being a Board member
