Willowbrook hosts State send-off celebration for Competitive Dance Team (Poms)

On Jan. 29, Willowbrook hosted a State send-off celebration for the school’s Competitive Dance Team (Poms).

The team competed in the Illinois High School Association (IHSA) Competitive Dance State Finals, which took place on Jan. 30 and 31 at Grossinger Motors Arena in Bloomington.

The Willowbrook student-athletes who competed are junior Kyri Burritt, senior Kaia Capulong, junior Elizabeth Deany, freshman Emily Dew, sophomore Brianna Flemming, freshman Etainia Grebin, senior Ava Jovanovich, junior Isabella Krygowski, sophomore Soleil Martin, senior Madelynn McEllin, senior Gedvina Mickevicius, senior Cecilia Oddo, junior Amanzia Termini and freshman Brooke Turner. The coaches are Emily Isaacson (Head Coach), Claire Creighton (Assistant Coach) and Maddie Schulte (Assistant Coach).
