Willowbrook hosts State send-off celebration for members of Math Team

On April 25, Willowbrook hosted a State send-off celebration for members of the school’s Math Team, who will compete in the Illinois Council of Teachers of Mathematics (ICTM) State Math Contest. That event takes place on April 26 at Illinois State University.

• Senior Ashar Hussain: Individual Precalculus written competition
  
  
• Sophomore Hendrix Solis: Individual Geometry written competition
  
  
• Senior Ashar Hussain and junior Haruki Yamada: Junior/senior 2-person team
  
  
• Freshmen/sophomore 8-person team: Freshman Marek Brown, freshman John Weber, freshman Sebastian Lopez, freshman Nicholas Kuban, sophomore Nathan Borcean, sophomore Olivia Daly, sophomore Quentin Medinger, sophomore Aaron Wilkins
