Willowbrook introduces 2024-25 National Honor Society inductees

Willowbrook is proud to announce the 2024-25 National Honor Society (NHS) inductees.

The school inducted or reaffirmed 180 students into the NHS during a ceremony on April 23. To watch the ceremony, click on the video above.

During the event, student officers highlighted successes of this year and the four tenets of NHS – leadership, service, character and scholarship. Seniors received a cord to wear during graduation, juniors received a pin and sophomores received a certificate. As each senior received a cord, he or she spoke about an influential teacher, to whom he or she wrote a thank you note.

The event’s keynote speaker was Willowbrook science teacher Dr. James Kedvesh.

To be inducted into Willowbrook’s NHS, students must apply and have a minimum 3.5 GPA, as well as demonstrate leadership, service, character and scholarship. To view a list of the 2024-25 NHS members, go to www.dupage88.net/WBNHSCeremony2025.
