On Jan. 25, Willowbrook hosted its annual Curriculum Showcase and Meet the Coaches/Clubs Night to provide incoming and current students and parents/guardians with information about the academics, clubs, activities and sports at the school. About 400 families were represented during the event.
Participants were able to meet with school counselors, representatives from each academic area, athletic coaches/activity advisers, District 88 Board of Education members and Willowbrook and District 88 administrators. They also had the opportunity to learn about social-emotional supports/services available to students (see details at www.dupage88.net/Supports), as well as organizations for parents/guardians (see details at www.dupage88.net/WBgroups).
Families from the Bilingual Parent Advisory Councils (BPAC) at School District 45 and Salt Creek School District 48 attended a joint BPAC meeting with Willowbrook that evening as well. The intention of this joint BPAC dinner is to welcome eighth-grade families to the building and to share information about District 88's parent programming supports.
As students begin the course-registration process for the 2024-25 school year, District 88 shares important information and reminders at https://www.dupage88.net/site/page/15963.
