On April 26, Willowbrook students who are enrolled in French 3 Honors, French 4 Honors and Advanced Placement (AP)/college-level French Language and Culture visited Léa, a French café in Oak Park.
During the field trip, students participated in a guided tour of the bakery and met with co-owner Nicolas Caulliez, who shared his experiences of living in Paris and showed how the bread and croissants at the restaurant are made in the French traditional style. Students also ate lunch at the café and walked through historic downtown Oak Park, including viewing Frank Lloyd Wright homes. For more information about Léa, go to https://leafrenchcafe.com.
