Willowbrook hosts Student Art Show

From April 22 to 26, the artistic talents of Willowbrook students were on display during the school’s annual Student Art Show, where more than 250 pieces created by students were showcased.

During the reception on April 24, 40 Art Honor Society inductees/reaffirmed students were announced. To receive that honor, students must maintain an art class GPA of 3.5 or higher and have a minimum of three elective art classes throughout their high school career. Inductees also must have been enrolled in an art class during the 2018-19 school year and demonstrate the Warrior Code. Freshmen Art Achievement Awards also were presented to 22 students.

The artwork in the show was judged, and below are several of the winners/winning pieces.
