Willowbrook hosts State send-off celebration for nine members of the BPA Team

On Feb. 28, Willowbrook hosted a State send-off celebration for nine members of the school’s Business Professionals of America (BPA) Team, who competed in the State competition. That event took place from Feb. 28 to March 2 at Willowbrook and at DoubleTree by Hilton hotel in Oak Brook.

Those students are listed below, along with the events in which they competed.

  • Senior Alban Shameti: Advanced Accounting and Digital Publishing
  • Senior Kianna Becker: Advanced Accounting and Business Law & Ethics
  • Senior Tomas Pelesinas: Database Applications and ICD-10-CM Diagnostic Coding
  • Junior Jack Carey: ICD-10-CM Diagnostic Coding
  • Senior Daniel Leskiewicz: Systems Administration Using Cisco® and C++ Programming
  • Senior Ashish Satsangi: SQL Database Fundamentals and Visual Basic/C# Programming
  • Sophomore Michael Elvery: Visual Basic/C# Programming and Fundamentals of Web Design
  • Sophomore Talha Ali: Computer Modeling and Visual Basic/C# Programming
  • Senior Samuel Munoz: C++ Programming and Java Programming
