Willowbrook World Language Club raises funds to help those affected by Hurricane Harvey

Members of the Willowbrook World Language Club sell "Willowbrook" bracelets to raise funds for Texas to assist those affected by Hurricane Harvey. Those items were available for students and staff to buy from Nov. 6 to 10. From Nov. 6 to 10, the Willowbrook World Language Club sold bracelets to raise funds for Texas to assist those affected by Hurricane Harvey.

The bracelets were engraved with “Willowbrook Warriors” on one side and “One School, One Family” on the other side.

The event raised nearly $250, which will benefit United Way of Greater Houston. According to https://www.unitedwayhouston.org, “(United Way of Greater Houston) transform(s) individual lives and bring(s) long-lasting, systemic change to tough issues, like family financial stability and academic success.”
