Two Willowbrook students inducted into Technology Center of DuPage National Technical Honor Society

On April 27, 63 high school students enrolled in programs at Technology Center of DuPage (TCD) were inducted into the TCD chapter of the National Technical Honor Society (NTHS).

Two of those students are Willowbrook senior Miguel Mora and junior Sam Ricchetti. To be inducted into the society, students must maintain an A grade in their TCD program and demonstrate excellence in leadership, citizenship, teamwork and employability skills. Mora and Ricchetti were recognized for their outstanding work in criminal justice and HVAC & refrigeration, respectively.

NTHS honors the achievements of top Career and Technical Education (CTE) students, provides scholarships to encourage the pursuit of higher education and cultivates excellence in today’s highly competitive workforce.

TCD is the advanced high school CTE center shared by 14 member DuPage-area high school districts. Open as an elective to juniors and seniors, TCD offers students career exploration, available industry certification and the opportunity to earn college credit while still in high school.
