Addison Trail introduces Blazer Ambassadors program

This year at Addison Trail, a group of 90 students will demonstrate their Blazer Pride by becoming Blazer Ambassadors.

The Blazer Ambassadors program will be implemented this school year to better deliver student-to-student mentor services at the school. A group of 30 ambassadors will work with special education students, another group of 30 ambassadors will work with students one on one, and the last group of 30 will serve as tutors.

Students had to apply and be chosen from a large group of applicants to become an ambassador. Ambassadors went through training in late summer and will continue to receive training in early fall.

Ambassadors also will be part of larger school programming such as Freshmen Orientation, Course Information Night and other transition programs for freshmen and new students. All 90 Blazer Ambassadors will be mentors in the freshmen houses.
