Willowbrook hosts annual Student Art Show

From May 13 to 15, the artistic talents of Willowbrook students were on display during the school’s annual Student Art Show.

About 800 pieces created by Willowbrook students were showcased, as well as 30 pieces created by elementary and middle school students from District 45 in Villa Park, Salt Creek School District 48 in Villa Park and St. Pius X Parish School in Lombard. On May 13, Art Honor Society inductees were announced, and a list of the inductees can be found at https://dupage88.net/site/public/files/?item=1577. To be inducted, students must maintain a GPA of 3.5 or higher and have a minimum of two elective art classes during high school. Inductees also must be enrolled in an art class during the 2013-14 school year and demonstrate the Warrior Code. Freshmen art awards and feeder-school art certificates also were presented.
