Seven Willowbrook students compete in IHSA Girls Badminton State Tournament

Seven members of the Willowbrook Girls Badminton Team competed in the Illinois High School Association (IHSA) Girls Badminton State Tournament.

They are senior Becky Kielminski (alternate), junior Sydney Planz (doubles), senior Maddie Arnold (doubles), senior Katherine Hinman (singles), senior Amanda Wendt (singles), senior Janine Johnson (doubles) and junior Brooke Bimber (doubles).

The State tournament took place on May 16 and 17 at Eastern Illinois University. Willowbrook hosted a State send-off for the student-athletes on May 15.
