Seven Willowbrook students have qualified to compete in the Business Professionals of America (BPA) National Leadership Conference 2014, which will take place April 30 through May 4 in Indianapolis.
The students qualified based on their performance in the State competition, which took place Feb. 26 through March 1 in Oakbrook. Senior Ryan Barrie finished in 1st place in Computer Security and C++ Programming; senior Shannon Strum finished in 2nd place in Visual Basic Programming and Fundamental Desktop Publishing; senior Tom Waters finished in 4th place in Visual Basic Programming; senior Shaun Hurdelbrink finished in 3rd place in JAVA Programming; and junior Abdulaziz Ahmed, freshman Mustafa Ali and junior Atif Siddiqui finished in 1st place in Computer Animation Team.
