Willowbrook hosts annual Battle of the Bands 2014

On Jan. 16, nine bands participated in the annual Battle of the Bands competition at Willowbrook.

Bands that performed were The Bird Watchers, PSK-13, Community Clay, Game Changer, On Sight, Seize the Day, The Slimz (aka RI), Main Street Cruzers and Aiming for Average.

Game Changer was announced as the winner of the Battle of the Bands competition and received $500 of studio time courtesy of Kevin Mucha of Coerce Recording Studio in Villa Park.

The 2014 Battle of the Bands event raised $300 to benefit Feed My Starving Children’s Philippines relief effort.
