Willowbrook ready to celebrate Homecoming 2026
It’s nearly Homecoming time at Willowbrook, and this year’s theme is “A Night in Rio.”
From Sept. 21 to 26, the school will celebrate with a variety of Homecoming activities. Below is the schedule of events.
Sept. 21:
- Theme: Tropical Takeover (Wear your best tropical or Hawaiian-inspired outfit!)
Sept. 22:
- Theme: World Cup Day (Represent your favorite soccer team or sports team!)
Sept. 23:
- Theme: Wild About HOCO (Break out the animal print!)
- Evening Event: 6 to 8 p.m., Homecoming Dodgeball Tournament
Sept. 24:
- Theme: Carnival Explosion (Go bold with bright colors, neon and fun patterns!)
- Evening Event: 6 p.m., Athletic Hall of Fame Induction Banquet at The Carlisle in Lombard (See details at https://www.dupage88.net/site/page/17692.)
Sept. 25:
- Theme: Class Colors (Show your school pride by wearing your class color! Teachers, mix it up – all colors!)
- Freshmen: White
- Sophomores: Silver
- Juniors: Black
- Seniors: Columbia Blue

- 4 p.m., Homecoming Parade: The route will begin at the Ruggard Gazebo (at Park Boulevard and Ardmore Avenue in Villa Park) and will end at the high school (1250 S. Ardmore Ave. in Villa Park). PLEASE NOTE: FROM ABOUT 4 TO 4:45 P.M. ON SEPT. 25, ARDMORE AVENUE WILL BE CLOSED FROM PARK BOULEVARD TO HIGHRIDGE ROAD FOR THE PARADE. - Tickets cost $25 each and can be bought at the Bookstore.
