Willowbrook welcomes families for annual Open House

On Sept. 3, Willowbrook welcomed parents/guardians and students to its annual Open House.

The evening gave families an opportunity to meet Willowbrook teachers, staff and administrators, as well as District 88 Board of Education members. Participants followed an abbreviated version of their child’s daily schedule and learned more about classroom expectations, curriculum and the variety of programs and opportunities available at Willowbrook.

Principal Dr. Daniel Krause welcomed families and shared important information to help parents/guardians and students have a successful start to the 2026-27 school year. He highlighted school/district updates, successes and future plans (including information about the board approving the placement of a referendum question on the Nov. 3, 2026, ballot to address facility needs at Addison Trail and Willowbrook high schools – see details at www.dupage88.net/Proposal).

Throughout the evening, families connected with staff, explored the school and learned more about the resources, activities and experiences available to students throughout the school year.
