Willowbrook hosts State send-off celebration for members of Boys Track & Field Team

On May 28, Willowbrook hosted a State send-off celebration for members of the Boys Track & Field Team, who competed in the Illinois High School Association (IHSA) Boys Track & Field State Tournament. To watch the presentation, click on the video above.

That event took place from May 28 to 30 at Eastern Illinois University.

The State qualifiers are:

Discus: Nicholas Hackett (class of 2026)

High Jump: Otis “OJ” Powell (class of 2026)

300-Meter Hurdles: Hayden Roscoe (class of 2026)

800-Meter Run: Evan Haworth (class of 2026)

3,200-Meter Run: Legend Alka (class of 2028) and Miteku Branch (class of 2026)

4x100-Meter Relay: Odin Gay (class of 2028), Josiah Marlowe (class of 2027), Otis “OJ” Powell (class of 2026) and Jorge Rosales (class of 2027)

4x200-Meter Relay: Jackson Dyers (class of 2029), Odin Gay (class of 2028), Josiah Marlowe (class of 2027) and Jorge Rosales (class of 2027)
