Willowbrook honors students during second annual Sophomore Awards Ceremony

On May 19, Willowbrook honored 184 sophomores during the school’s second annual Sophomore Awards Ceremony. The purpose of this event is to celebrate and encourage grade 10 students who are meeting with success in the classroom, in extracurriculars and beyond.

Sophomores who meet the following criteria automatically earn this recognition.

  1. A GPA of 3.5 or above (Honor Roll status)

  2. No discipline/behavior logs

  3. An attendance rate of at least 95 percent

  4. Involved in one or more school activity, club or sport

Students also could be nominated by a staff member for regularly demonstrating the Warrior Code and/or serving as a leader. Nominees were evaluated for attendance and behavior.
