Willowbrook’s U.S. Army Junior Reserve Officers’ Training Corps (JROTC) program hosts end-of-year awards ceremony

On May 8, Willowbrook’s U.S. Army Junior Reserve Officers’ Training Corps (JROTC) program hosted an awards ceremony to celebrate the 2025-26 school year and honor students’ successes.

During the event, the 28 Willowbrook pupils (referred to as cadets) who participated in the program this year were recognized in 13 areas. Those included academic excellence, academic achievement, participation in the annual nationwide JROTC Leadership & Academic Bowl, participation in school/varsity sports, leadership proficiency, military appearance, participation in the JROTC Color Guard, good conduct, recruiting other students into JROTC and completing the Level I & II JROTC Program Year.
