Willowbrook hosts State send-off celebration for members of esports Team

On April 30, Willowbrook hosted a State send-off celebration for four members of the school’s esports Team, who competed in the Illinois High School Association (IHSA) esports State Tournament.

That event took place on May 2 at Evergreen Park Community High School, and the group competed as a team in Mario Kart. In the Sectional Tournament on April 25 at Batavia High School, the team won every race and finished 5-0, winning the IHSA Sectional Championship (pictured above).

The students are senior Santino Amari, junior Cyan Waltz, junior Spencer Kaina and sophomore Arthur Algmin.
