During the event, about 200 Willowbrook students, staff, parents/guardians and community members came together to enjoy cultural displays and activities; international music and performances; and food/snacks from throughout the world.

The evening was coordinated by Willowbrook staff members Rachel Karos and Nilay Woodbury, along with the following school organizations: Italian Club, MSA, SASA, ASIA, HOLA, Multicultural Club and K-Pop Club.

District 88 is proud to have a diverse learning community, and about 50 languages are represented among its families. District 88’s core values include ensuring all students, staff and community members feel safe, valued, respected and welcome. And the Cultural Night is one event to help accomplish that goal.
