Four members of Willowbrook Speech Team to compete in IHSA Sectional Tournament

Four members of the Willowbrook Speech Team qualified to compete in the Illinois High School Association (IHSA) Sectional Tournament, after competing in the Regional Tournament on Feb. 7 at Prospect High School. Sectionals took place on Feb. 14 at Downers Grove South High School.

Those students are:

Extemporaneous Speaking: Sophomore Shem Rodrigues (earned 4th place at the Regional Tournament)

Oratorical Declamation: Junior Alina Iqbal (earned 4th place at the Regional Tournament)

Original Comedy: Senior Suha Salman (earned 4th place at the Regional Tournament)

Original Oratory: Junior Alina Iqbal (earned 4th place at the Regional Tournament)

Poetry Reading: Junior Bridget Krigsholm (earned 4th place at the Regional Tournament)

Special Occasion Speaking: Junior Bridget Krigsholm (earned 4th place at the Regional Tournament)
