Four members of Willowbrook Speech Team to compete in IHSA Sectional Tournament

Four members of the Willowbrook Speech Team qualified to compete in the Illinois High School Association (IHSA) Sectional Tournament, after competing in the Regional Tournament on Feb. 7 at Prospect High School. Sectionals took place on Feb. 14 at Downers Grove South High School.

Those students are:

Extemporaneous Speaking: Sophomore Shem Rodrigues (earned 4^th place at the Regional Tournament)

Oratorical Declamation: Junior Alina Iqbal (earned 4^th place at the Regional Tournament)

Original Comedy: Senior Suha Salman (earned 4^th place at the Regional Tournament)

Original Oratory: Junior Alina Iqbal (earned 4^th place at the Regional Tournament)

Poetry Reading: Junior Bridget Krigsholm (earned 4^th place at the Regional Tournament)

Special Occasion Speaking: Junior Bridget Krigsholm (earned 4^th place at the Regional Tournament)

Prose Reading: Sophomore Alyssa Alcozer

Radio Speaking: Junior Mia Ojeda
