Willowbrook hosts ‘An Intimate Evening with Plain White T’s,’ featuring multi-platinum, Grammy-nominated alumnus Tom Higgenson

On Jan. 30, Willowbrook was thrilled to welcome back alumnus Tom Higgenson and his multi-platinum, Grammy-nominated band Plain White T’s during “An Intimate Evening with Plain White T’s,” hosted by Encore Center for Performing Arts. 

During the event, Higgenson and his bandmates (Tim G. Lopez, Mike Retondo and De’Mar Randell Hamilton) played their hits such as “1, 2, 3, 4,” “Rhythm of Love” and more.

Higgenson also did a special performance of his chart-topping anthem “Hey There Delilah” with Willowbrook students Claire Brennan (junior), Adeline Haak (junior), Crow McNeilly (senior) and Shea Downer (junior). To watch that performance, click on the video above.

Throughout the show, the band shared their journey and stories/inspiration behind their songs. The evening also included a question-and-answer session, where fans had an opportunity to speak directly with the band in a close-up, personal experience.
