Willowbrook senior named Suburban Life Athlete of the Week for basketball

Willowbrook is excited to share senior Otis “OJ” Powell (pictured above) was recently named as the Suburban Life Athlete of the Week for basketball. He was selected as Athlete of the Week through an online vote. 

Powell earned this recognition as a result of scoring 25 points in a win over Wheeling High School on Jan. 3. In the process, he passed Everett Stubblefield III as Willowbrook’s all-time leading scorer, with 1,451 points and counting.
