Willowbrook Environmental Club participates in Brook Cleanup event

On Oct. 8, members of the Willowbrook Environmental Club gathered together after school to participate in a Brook Cleanup (pictured above).

During the event, the students removed trash from the brook that encircles the school building to help clean the water. They got rid of pieces of plastic containers, candy wrappers, fast food containers and even a frisbee!

To motivate the students, the group hosted a friendly competition to see who collected the most trash by weight.
