Willowbrook honors and remembers Sept. 11, 2001

On Sept. 11, 2001, a tragic terrorist attack was made against the U.S. in New York, Pennsylvania and Washington, D.C. Nearly 3,000 people lost their lives, including more than 400 first responders (source: https://www.bbc.com/news/articles/c98elnpr0kzo).

This year, in remembrance of Sept. 11, 2001, members of Willowbrook’s Concert Choir sang “The Star-Spangled Banner” during a Patriot Day Ceremony at the Villa Park Fire Department’s Fire Station 81.

Willowbrook also shared a special announcement about the significance of Patriot Day, and students and staff participated in a moment of silence.
