During the recent Illinois High School Association (IHSA) Girls Gymnastics State Meet, Willowbrook senior Naomi Campbell made school history.
The competition took place on Feb. 21 and 22 at Palatine High School, and Campbell was named as the 2025 Illinois Female Gymnast of the Year by the Illinois High School Gymnastics Coaches Association. She is the first Warrior to earn this prestigious award.
Campbell also finished in 2nd place on beam during the competition, after earning a personal best score of 9.525. She now shares the distinction of having the highest state finish in school history for girls gymnastics, along with Sheila Roelle (who placed 2nd on beam in 1984).
