Willowbrook hosts State send-off celebration for Competitive Dance Team (Poms)

On Jan. 30, Willowbrook hosted a State send-off celebration for the school’s Competitive Dance Team (Poms). To watch the presentation, click on the video above.

For the fourth consecutive year, the team competed in the Illinois High School Association (IHSA) Competitive Dance State Final, which took place on Jan. 31 and Feb. 1 at Grossinger Motors Arena in Bloomington.

The Willowbrook student-athletes who competed are freshman Brianna Flemming, junior Gedvina Mickevicius, sophomore Kyri Burritt, junior Cecilia Oddo, senior Kelly Kramme, sophomore Elizabeth Deany, junior Ava Jovanovich, junior Madelynn McEllin, senior Gianna Giampaoli and sophomore Amanzia Termini. The coaches are Claire Creighton (Head Coach) and Maddie Schulte (Assistant Coach).
