Artwork of Addison Trail student displayed in State Senator’s office

Throughout the month of October, 12 pieces of art created by Addison Trail senior Aime Zuniga will be displayed in the office of State Sen. Tom Cullerton (D) with District 23.

Addison Trail art teacher Tim Hockensmith said Cullerton’s staff called and said they’re looking to display student artwork from schools within District 23, and Zuniga was selected for October.

“It was really exciting to be selected because this is my first display,” Zuniga said. “It’s a great memory to have, and I’ll never forget it.”

Zuniga said her pieces are 3-D, and she plans to double major in art and English. To see Zuniga’s artwork, stop by Cullerton’s office at 338 S. Ardmore Ave. in Villa Park.
