Willowbrook Speech Team earns awards at St. Charles East High School tournament

On Nov. 11, members of the Willowbrook Speech Team competed in a tournament at St. Charles East High School and came in 4^th place.

Dramatic Duet Acting: Freshmen Bridget Krigsholm and Gwen Valle, 5^th place

Extemporaneous Speaking: Junior Parizaad Ali, 3^rd place

Humorous Duet Acting: Sophomore Malachy Heneghan and junior Jason Nelson, 4^th place

Humorous Interpretation: Junior Jason Nelson, 2^nd place; Freshman Francesca Pack, 6^th place

Impromptu Speaking: Freshman Marcus Castillo, 5^th place

Informative Speaking: Junior Nuha Ashar, 4^th place; Freshman Marcus Castillo, 5^th place

Oratorical Declamation: Junior Nuha Ashar, 4^th place

Original Comedy: Junior Colton Emmert, 1^st place – Tournament Champion; Sophomore Suha Salman, 4^th place

Original Oratory: Freshman Alina Iqbal, 4^th place

Poetry Reading: Freshman Mia Ojeda, 6^th place

Radio Speaking: Sophomore Suha Salman, 6^th place
