District 88 participates in Villa Park Chamber of Commerce event to raise scholarship funds for Willowbrook students

On Sept. 13, District 88 participated in the Villa Park Chamber of Commerce’s annual B3: BBQ, Bags & Business event.

The event features a bags tournament and a barbeque dinner, and proceeds support scholarships for Willowbrook students. About 50 people attended the event, which raised nearly $5,000.

District 88 was represented by the following Board of Education members and administrators:

  • Donna Craft Cain, District 88 Board of Education President
  • Dan Olson, District 88 Board of Education Vice President
  • Jean Taylor, District 88 Board of Education Member
  • Dr. Jean Barbanente, District 88 Superintendent
  • Yvonne Tsagalis, District 88 Assistant Superintendent for Curriculum and College and Career Pathways
  • Dani Brink, District 88 Director of Community Relations (and Villa Park Chamber of Commerce Secretary)
  • Dr. Daniel Krause, Willowbrook Principal
  • Dr. Jamie Gourley, Willowbrook Assistant Principal
  • Ed Sullivan, Willowbrook Athletic Director (Sullivan also served as the emcee for the event and coordinated the bags tournament)
