Addison Trail LMC Hours and Policies
LMC Hours
Monday - Friday 6:30 am - 3:00 pm
Students are welcome to come to the Library Media Center:
- before school
- during their lunch period
- with a pass from their teacher during class periods
- during ATR with a purple pass obtained before the end of 3rd period from the Library Media Center and signed by their ATR teacher.
Circulation Policy
- Maximum checkout: 5 items, but ask if you need more
- Books: 3 weeks, may renew if there are no holds pending
- Comics and Newspapers: In-library use only
- Textbooks & Yearbooks: In-library use only
- Test Study Guides: 3 days, may renew if there are no holds pending
Fines
- There is NO CHARGE for late books. Please see library staff to renew
- If book is lost or damaged, the student is responsible for the cost of the book plus a $2.00 processing fee
Computers
- Desktops: Two desktop computers and four Chromebook docking stations are available for student use
- Chromebooks: Available for in-LMC use; a charging station is available if you need power while you're in the LMC
- Academic use only - No games allowed!
Printing/Photocopying/Scanning
- Black/white and color printing, photocopies, and scanning documents are free of charge (Academic Use Only).
- Please be mindful of what you're printing; ask for help to reduce paper/ink usage.
Food & Beverages
- No food is allowed in the LMC
- Beverages (covered container) allowed
- Eat all meals and snacks in the cafeteria
Electronics Policy
- Adherence to all District 88 Internet & Technology Policies is mandatory (See Section 7 of the Student Handbook, Manual del Estudiante)
- Personal electronics (laptops, calculators, e-readers) are welcome
- Cell phone usage is permitted only during lunch or free periods -- please step into the Commons to make or receive a phone call
- Students attending class and ATR in the LMC must adhere to the ATHS cell phone policy
