Willowbrook automotive program earns accreditation by ASE Education Foundation

Willowbrook’s automotive program has again received accreditation by the National Institute for Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) Education Foundation.

The program has retained its certification in maintenance and light repair after completing the five-step accreditation process, which involves a thorough, strategic review of the school’s automotive service program that evaluates its structure, processes, resources, materials and mission. “This recognition provides a way to hold us all accountable, and it allows students to leave high school with a certification that can help them find employment,” said Chris Dunk, Willowbrook Career and Technical Education (CTE) teacher (who also is an alumnus of Willowbrook).
