Willowbrook music students earn 1st-place ratings at Midwest Band Festival

On Feb. 25, Willowbrook’s Wind Ensemble and Concert/Symphonic Band competed in the Midwest Band Festival at Lemont High School.

Both groups performed two pieces and earned 1^st-place ratings. More than 20 schools participated in the event, and each music group was judged on intonation, tone, rhythm accuracy, overall presentation and professionalism.
