Willowbrook hosts State send-off celebration for eight members of the DECA Team

On March 3, Willowbrook hosted a State send-off celebration for members of the school’s DECA Team who competed in the DECA State competition (known as the Illinois DECA Career Development Conference). That event took place from March 3 to 5 in Rosemont.

Those students are:

  • Senior Kalista Becker: 2nd place in Automotive Services Marketing; International Business Plan

  • Senior Tracy Chen: 3rd place in Principles of Marketing (qualified, but unable to compete)

  • Junior Hudson De La Rosa: 3rd place in Principles of Business Management and Administration

  • Junior Neeraja Kumar: 2nd place in Sports and Entertainment Marketing; Integrated Marketing Campaign (event, product or service?)

  • Senior Charles May: 2nd place in Principles of Business Management and Administration

  • Senior Chris Nasi: 1st place in Marketing Communications; Independent Business Plan

  • Seniors Penelope DelValle and Maxwell Hirsch: Innovation Plan
