Each year, Willowbrook recognizes and celebrates the athletic and personal successes of standout Willowbrook student-athletes through the school’s annual Athletic Hall of Fame. This distinguished event was founded in 2010 and is a way to honor the alumni who have helped create and continue the legacy of Pride, Tradition and Excellence that is Willowbrook High School.

On Jan. 27, Willowbrook inducted members into its Athletic Hall of Fame Class of 2022 during a dinner at The Carlisle in Lombard. Willowbrook Principal Dr. Daniel Krause, Willowbrook Athletic Director Brandon Murphy and Willowbrook Athletic Hall of Fame President Helen Connell greeted the crowd. Emcees for the evening were Vic Wisner (Willowbrook social studies teacher and football and baseball coach) and Bryan Murphy (former Willowbrook teacher, dean and coach). Willowbrook Assistant Principal Bob Daly, who served as the school’s Athletic Director from 2011 to 2018, gave the Address to the Class of 2022.
