Willowbrook hosts Homecoming 2021

From Sept. 27 to Oct. 2, Willowbrook celebrated Homecoming Week with several events and activities. This year’s theme was “Masquerade,” and students and staff showed their Warrior Pride and school spirit throughout the week. Highlights included:

Sept. 29: Homecoming Pep Rally, Powder-Puff Game and Bonfire

  • Juniors and seniors participated in the Powder-Puff Game, and the juniors won (6-2).

Oct. 1: Homecoming Parade and Football Game

  • A variety of Willowbrook clubs/activities and athletic teams were represented during the parade! Click on the image above to watch the parade and to view a photo gallery of the event.
  • The Homecoming Football Game was the annual Crosstown Classic Football Game between the Willowbrook Warriors and the Addison Trail Blazers. The Warriors won the game.

  • During the football game, community leaders, dignitaries, service groups, first responders and veterans were announced to the crowd and thanked for their support of District 88 and the villages of Addison and Villa Park.     • Villa Park Troop 199 and the Addison Police Department presented a Color Guard

Oct. 2: Homecoming Dance, “Masquerade”

  • Nearly 1,400 students attended the dance, which is a school record! The event included refreshments (which were individual servings, in compliance with COVID-19 best practices and procedures) provided by The Brook Catering Co., comprised of Willowbrook students who are enrolled in culinary classes at the school.
