Seven Willowbrook students qualify to compete in Business Professionals of America National Leadership Conference

Seven Willowbrook students have qualified to compete in the Business Professionals of America (BPA) National Leadership Conference.

Those students are:

  • Senior Talha Ali (pictured above - top row, left): C++ Programming (4th place at the State Leadership Conference)

  • Ali, senior Logan Bosco (pictured above - top row, second from left), senior Jonathan Cazarez (pictured above - top row, third from left) and junior Charles May (pictured above - top row, right): Computer Animation Team (1st place at the State Leadership Conference)

  • May: Computer Modeling (1st place at the State Leadership Conference)

  • Senior Samantha Williams (pictured above - bottom row, left): Fundamental Spreadsheet Applications (4th place at the State Leadership Conference)

  • Senior Michael Elvery (pictured above - bottom row, center): PC Servicing & Troubleshooting: (2nd place at the State Leadership Conference)

  • Junior Maxwell Hirsch (pictured above - bottom row, right): Personal Financial Management: (5th place at the State Leadership Conference)

This year’s event will take place from May 4 to 9, and the theme is “Envision, Empower, Ignite.” Competitions will be hosted virtually because of the coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) pandemic.
