Willowbrook Best Buddies club invites everyone to participate in Virtual Friendship Walk

The Willowbrook Best Buddies club invites everyone to participate in a Friendship Walk on June 20 to highlight the mission of Best Buddies, celebrate friendships and fundraise for local chapters. Because of the coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) pandemic, the event will be hosted virtually.

Best Buddies International is a nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization dedicated to establishing a global volunteer movement that creates opportunities for one-to-one friendships, integrated employment, leadership development and inclusive living for people with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD). When: The Opening Ceremonies will begin at 10:15 a.m., and the Virtual Walk will begin at 10:45 a.m. on June 20
