On April 18, six Addison Trail students who are enrolled in the school’s Culinary II course took a field trip to College of DuPage (COD).

During their visit, the students worked with a COD culinary class and prepared dishes to be served at Waterleaf, a restaurant in the college's Culinary & Hospitality Center. Waterleaf provides a dining experience that offers real-life training to Culinary Arts, Baking and Pastry Arts and Restaurant Management students at COD.

The Addison Trail group also was able to see how the restaurant runs. The students who participated are junior Natalie Diaz, junior Gabriella Bonilla, senior Cynthia Rodriguez, junior Jaime Mejia, junior Blake Vaca and junior Jhonatan Zuniga.
