Pictured are the scholarship recipients who were honored by the Addison Chamber of Commerce & Industry during the chamber’s annual Student Honors Banquet on April 26. They are (from left) Addison Trail senior Nicole Pudlo (named as the recipient of the Addison Chamber of Commerce & Industry Scholarship), Addison Trail senior Catherine Burlage (named as the College of DuPage Presidential Scholars Award winner), Addison Trail senior Nicholas Stamatopoulos (named as the Kiwanis Club of Addison Key Club Scholarship winner) and Kaytlin Bayne and Nick Leone (children of chamber members, who were recognized with the A.J. On April 26, Addison Trail seniors were honored by the Addison Chamber of Commerce & Industry (ACCI) during the chamber’s annual Student Honors Banquet.
The event took place at The Empress Banquets in Addison and recognized the students for their academic and extracurricular accomplishments.

Addison Trail Principal Michael Bolden and District 88 Director of Curriculum, Instruction and Assessment Adam Cibulka presented each student with a certificate for his or her achievements.
Addison Trail senior Nicole Pudlo was named as the recipient of the Addison Chamber of Commerce & Industry Scholarship. Kaytlin Bayne and Nick Leone (children of ACCI members) were recognized with the A.J. LaRocca Memorial Foundation Scholarship. Addison Trail senior Catherine Burlage won the College of DuPage Presidential Scholars Award, and the Kiwanis Club of Addison Key Club Scholarship winner was Addison Trail senior Nicholas Stamatopoulos.
Addison Trail senior Sophia Belvedere served as the student speaker and congratulated her classmates on their efforts. Addison Mayor Rich Veenstra welcomed the crowd, and the keynote speaker was Zach Maxwell (Addison Trail alumnus, class of 2008). Maxwell spoke to the honorees about the true meaning of success and the importance of staying motivated to always stand out. Maxwell graduated from University of Notre Dame in 2012 and is a District Manager with ALDI USA.
