It might have been cold outside on Feb. 25, but inside Addison Trail, the building was buzzing with activity as we hosted a Young Hearts for Life® (YH4L) Cardiac Screening Program.
Our No. 1 priority at District 88 is the safety and well-being of our students, and this event allowed us to provide students with free electrocardiograms to identify those at risk for heart conditions.
On that day, our field house was filled with cardiac screening machines, doctors, nurses and volunteers. It was amazing to see the field house filled with hundreds of students, and we’re incredibly thankful to Young Hearts for Life for offering us this opportunity to help ensure our students’ health.
