Addison Trail Special Olympics Basketball Team qualifies for State competition

On Jan. 10, the Addison Trail Special Olympics Basketball Team competed in a tournament at Unity Junior High School and qualified for the Special Olympics State Basketball competition.

That event will take place from March 11 to 13 at Illinois State University. Students who will participate in the State competition are junior Isabella Chaidez, sophomore Guadalupe Garcia, senior Austin Vitello, sophomore George Pappas-Papaioannou, senior Aleks Iskali, senior Alejandro Bueno, sophomore Robert Vitello, sophomore Kayshaun Stanfill, senior Johnny Rodriguez and sophomore Rueben Chacko.
