Addison Trail Marching Band seeking sponsors for ‘Go Pink’ plumes

Throughout October, Addison Trail will host a variety of events to raise awareness and funds to help cure breast cancer in recognition of Breast Cancer Awareness Month.

One of the school’s largest events will be the Go Pink or Go Home football game on Oct. 23. During that game, the color pink will be seen throughout the stadium – and the Addison Trail Marching Band is looking for your support to add even more pink.

The band is looking to wear pink plumes (instead of its traditional white) and is seeking sponsorships from local businesses and community members to cover the cost of those plumes.

Each plume costs $15, and $5 from each plume will be donated to cancer research. Individuals or businesses who sponsor three or more plumes will receive an 8-by-10-inch color photo of the band in uniform.
