Addison Trail 50th Anniversary

Calling all Addison Trail Blazers! The school’s 50th anniversary will be celebrated during the 2016-17 school year, and this page will be your guide to the events and programs that will take place to honor the school’s rich history.

Addison Trail was built in 1966. Fifty years later, the school is still home to the Blazers and continues to celebrate the Blazer Pride that fills our halls each year. Addison Trail has a rich tradition of student achievement in all areas – academics, athletics, extracurricular activities and community service. We have consistently been recognized as “Top High Schools” by Newsweek and as “America’s Most Challenging High Schools” by The Washington Post. Addison Trail also has been named as one of the “Best High Schools” by U.S. News & World Report.
