Addison Trail Boys Soccer Team members volunteer at Henry Hyde Resource Center

On Sept. 16, more than 15 members of the Addison Trail Varsity Boys Soccer Team gave back to their community through volunteering at the Henry Hyde Resource Center in Addison.

The athletes helped younger students with their homework in various subject areas and also played soccer with those students.

“Our goal is for our players to be well-rounded individuals and understand the importance of giving back,” said Ryan Dini, Addison Trail Boys Soccer Head Coach. “These students grew up in this community, and we want them to interact with the younger students, so they can see how far they’ve come. We always tell our players, ‘Good things happen to good people,’ and we emphasize the need to help others and give back.”
