Addison Trail hosts annual Senior Athletic Banquet
On June 1, Addison Trail hosted its annual Senior Athletic Banquet at Alta Villa Banquets in Addison.
During the event, seniors who will continue their sport at the collegiate level were recognized. Those students are:
- Rachel Baumgartner: Aurora University, basketball
- Jaavion Bradley: Iowa Western, football
- Joseph Conforti: Elmhurst College, baseball
- Alex Dickmann: Indiana University - Purdue University Fort Wayne, volleyball
- Taylor Fischer: Central Michigan University, cheerleading
- Christian Grabowski: Elmhurst College, baseball
- Michael Huynh: Harper College, wrestling
- Anthony Metallo: University of Wisconsin-Platteville, football and wrestling
- Jonah Moran: College of DuPage, soccer
- Michael Rybarczyk: University of Minnesota Duluth, football
- Zachary Vaca: Carthage College, golf
- Jaime Valdez: Lincoln College, wrestling and baseball
- Jonathan Valentini: Benedictine University, volleyball
- Taylor White: Aquinas College, basketball
- Alexandra DiSilvio: Elmhurst College, cheerleading
- Darius Conrad Jr.: Youngstown State University, football
Addison Trail also honored four students with its annual awards.
- Athletic Booster Club Male Scholar Athlete of the Year: Eric Gilliam
- Athletic Booster Club Female Scholar Athlete of the Year: Joanna Villalobos
*This scholarship is presented to the male athlete and the female athlete with the highest grade point average from the senior class. Recipients also must be a two-sport athlete.
- Male Athlete of the Year: Jaavion Bradley
- Female Athlete of the Year: Kim Schonder
*Addison Trail head coaches nominate and select one male athlete and one female athlete from the senior class to receive this award.
